THE GIRL IN THE CORNFIELD

Three young women traveling along a dark country road encounter a mysterious girl in a white dress who turns out to be far more than she seems.

The Girl in the Cornfield is "a classic ghost story" according to NerdRageNews.com. The film gained international attention and coverage on sites like DreadCentral and JoBlo.com. Madeline Lupi was nominated by the Young Artist Awards and Young Entertainer Awards for her performance in this film.

The Girl in the Cornfield was the film that started it all for Shady Dawn Pictures, as it was their first project to gain a substantial degree of notoriety, and also featured actresses who went on to become mainstays of the label (Briana Aceti, Tiffany Browne-Tavarez, Madeline Lupi). Looking back, Ryan would acknowledge he didn't have a great grasp on lighting during production (2015), and his directing abilities have also come a long way since then. However, that didn't stop The Girl in the Cornfield from getting attention, and it has its fans. It has also spawned an even better sequel: "Where Demons Dwell: The Girl in the Cornfield 2", and a short film titled "Stay out of the Cornfield", which serves as the basis for the next film in the series "Night of the Harvest", coming soon.

You can catch The Girl in the Cornfield on Tubi TV, Amazon Prime, and coming soon to Plex and Xumo.
